Voantsy black pepper is a wild pepper that grows on tall lianas (between 10 and 20 meters from the ground) in some humid tropical forest areas on the island of Madagascar. Its particularly painful and dangerous harvest is done by hand by the villagers of these forest areas. The sometimes slightly different stages of maturity during harvest explain the nuances in the coloring of the grains. An exceptional pepper !!! Divine on white meats, lamb or fish but goes well with almost everything, salads with fresh cheese, and even desserts! Try it with strawberries, pears and chocolate!
